Identification of water issues of current interest and importance to Arizona and the West. Through research, interviews and the gathering of varied information, such issues are interpreted and written for a broad audience. This includes water professionals as well as general, nonspecialized interests; e.g., the concerned citizen seeking information about water issues.

Broaden interest in water beyond scientific and public policy concerns to include an appreciation of the cultural and humanistic qualities of water.
