Scholarships

There are a variety of professional improvement and networking benefits to joining the Association including these.

TOP TEN REASONS TO JOIN:

10.  Subscription to "The County Agent" Magazine:   A national magazine addressing issues and concerns as well as celebrating the success of people an programs across the country.

9.  Subscription to aaea@ag.arizona.edu - email listserve connecting all Arizona members.

2.  Scholarships! All members are invited to participate in the scholarship program.  An investment of $40 makes you eligible for up to $1,000 in scholarship support for professional improvement.

1.  Networking!!!  Connect with the Extension Professionals who are moving Arizona Agriculture forward.  County Agents, Area Agents, Extension Specialist, Administrators and Campus faculty with Extension appointments connect and develop strong working relationships throughout the Association.  Make sure your name is on our membership list.

 

To Join AAEA

There are two Membership Levels:

Active Membership:  Any University of Arizona College of Agriculture and Life Sciences faculty member, with Cooperative Extension involvement, who is on active duty or temporary leave, may become an active member of the Association upon payment of dues of $50 annually (Due 1/1).

Associate Membership:  Any former member who has retired or will be retiring within the calendar year may apply for associate membership in this Association. Upon payment of a life membership fee, the associate member is eligible to attend State and National County Agent Annual Meetings and other privileges extended by the AAEA and NACAA.
