Biography

Michelle Hintz is the Business Manager for the Departments of Agricultural Education and ECAT. She has been working at the University of Arizona since August 1992. She started in Accounts Payable for the University Controllers office and in 1995 was promoted to Accountant in the Controllers Office working with Departments on University policies and procedures. After two years she decided to see what is was like working for a Department. She started in Agricultural Education and Educational,
Communications, and Technologies the summer of 1997.  Michelle takes care of all the business matters for the Departments and helps with the every day running of both Departments.  Michelle was born in San Luis Obispo, CA and was raised in Redondo Beach, California.  Like most Californians she loves to surf!  In 1982, after six years of living in Reno, NV, she decided to be closer to her sister and moved to Tucson. Michelle soon met her husband (Bob).
