Ag-Ventures

Students and teachers get hands-on experience on the farmStudents of all ages learn about food and fiber through taste and touch. Some activities include insect identification, soil and water conservation, use of irrigation siphon tubes, food sampling, and learning about cotton's long journey. In addition students learn about aquaculture which is a rapid growing industry in American agriculture. Students see fish ponds and feed the fish, learn fish anatomy and compare species of water life.
