About me
Hello, I’m Ms. Warren and graduated from ASU with my Elementary Education degree. I always planned to teach 3rd
Grade. I’ve heard many colleagues (including myself) vow: ‘I will never teach Kindergarten.’ Famous last words as I enter my third year with Kinders. I truly love it.
I also LOVE reading and writing (thanks to this third grade teacher). To pass this on, I realized that I would have to teach my little guys to love reading the way she taught me.
I excitedly watched students begging every adult that happened to wander into our room to listen to them read. Don’t come in during the 3rd or 4th quarter and not expect to be hijacked!
I’m also a folk artist and enjoy sharing my love for creative expression, art and writing in class. My primary work has been with Halloween folk-art, inspired through the German Cottage industry. I also adore fall, nature and holiday themes as well. I sold some of my past work here:

I also like playing Texas Hold ‘em, singing Karaoke and, of course, spending an entire day at the bookstore! I love making new friends, young and old, and am excited about meeting a whole new group for the 2009-2010 school year.
