Information regarding this Mexicali - San Luis Valleys Cotton IPM Project is within the guidelines of the Border 2012 Program funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and administered by BECC.

The EPA Partnership with the Border Environment Cooperation Commission (BECC) to further the goals and of the Border 2012 program is getting results. The EPA/BECC - partnership is implementing more than 144 environmental projects and disbursing over $7.49 million for these projects in the border region (Region 6 and 9). The funded projects will accelerate environmental results in an area with a combined population of almost 21.17 million people. The projects are focused on addressing community needs along the both sides of the border.

The Border Environment Cooperation Commission works to preserve, protect and enhance human health and the environment of the U.S. - Mexico border region, by strengthening cooperation among interested parties and supporting sustainable projects through a transparent binational process.

Información relacionada al proyecto de Control Integrado de Plagas en los Valles de Mexicali, Baja California y San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora bajo los lineamientos del Programa Frontera 2012 financiado por la Agencia de Protección al Ambiente de los Estados Unidos (EPA) y administrada por BECC.

El convenio entre la EPA y la Comisión Cooperativa para el Medio Ambiente de la Frontera (BECC) ha sido formulado para promover los objetivos de Programa Frontera 2012 y esta teniendo resultados . Esta asociación EPA/BECC esta implementando más de 144 proyectos ambientales y desembolsando arriba de 7.49 millones de dolares para estos proyectos en la región Fronteriza (Región 6 y 9). Los proyectos financiados van a acelerar resultados ambientales en un área con una población combinada de casi 21.17 millones de personas. Los proyectos están enfocados a atender las necesidades de la comunidad a ambos lados de la frontera.

La Comisión Cooperativa para el Medio Ambiente en la Frontera se dedica a preservar, proteger y mejorar la salud humana y del medio ambiente en la región de la Frontera de Los Estados Unidos y México, mediante el fortalecimiento de la cooperación entre las partes interesadas y el apoyo a proyectos sustentables a través de un proceso binacional trasparente.
