Arizona Make a Splash With WET Water Festival

Water Festival

While I was at the Water Festival, I felt like I was the luckiest kid in the world!
(Encio in Mrs. Rogers' class)

Exciting, hands-on investigations leave 4th graders (and teachers) asking for more!

Each Arizona Water Festival incorporates two hours of hands-on, interactive lessons focused on:

  • groundwater and aquifers;
  • watersheds and water sources;
  • the value of water and conservation; and
  • the water cycle.

Teachers attend pre-festival, standards-based workshop and receive a free Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide.

Community volunteers get their hands wet, in order to make the Splash! that a well-organized Arizona Water Festival can make.

Sponsors make the Water Festival happen through their financial and in-kind support.
