Comments on Organization of this page:
- As you might have guessed by now, the links put up at this site
connect sites with subjects of interest related to ART. In
instances where sites are not listed under a specific subject,
they relate to GIS and related topics.
- This page is organized partly by TYPE OF ORGANIZATION
(government/private/commercial) and partly by SUBJECT (remote
sensing/geography). Our attempt has been to use both paradigms
to index sites that will fall sometimes in both- like the NASA
- Remote Sensing Data and Information site into just one topic
that will best list for our purposes.
- A lot of the sites listed below are not just about the title
they are listed under; the title describes best to our
understanding, a major part of their work or purpose as gleaned
from their material and mission statement. So if you happen to
be searching for a site that you suspect has information
related to Remote Sensing or GIS and cannot find it amongst
such titles, you might want to look under Geography for
instance. On the other hand different sites with a variety of
purposes might be found listed as part of Government sites.
- After following the above tips, if you find a site that you
think is lised incorrectly- wheather by way of being under an
incorrect title or by way of being more appropriate for a
totally new category, please email us and we will take a second
look at it. Also, if you have a site that you think would be
appropriate for this page and is not listed, please let us
