Laveen
Due to lack of funding, the Laveen station was
removed from the AZMET Network on October 1 2001.
September 30 2001 is the last day of data available.

The Laveen-Tolleson Pest Control District has graciously provided funding to
support the operations of this weather station over the past 7 years.
The District has notified AZMET that it will be unable to provide this funding
in the future. AZMET is therefore seeking another sponsor to support the
continuing operation of the Laveen AZMET station. An AZMET weather station
can remain operational only if a sponsor is willing to fund the station's
non-labor operating cost. These costs presently total $1720 per year.
