Project Background
The Tucson Community Technology Education Network project
grew out of the City of Tucson's GIS collaboration project (see http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/gis/html/cooperative.html).
This collaboration has as one of its goals to foster GIS education to the Tucson community,
particularly the non-technical.Parties interested in building educational applications
that are spatially
based, and teach users how to use the technology, as well as its uses, meet
regularly and correspond with each other via
email.
