Mr. Eric Andersen, Nature Conservancy Southeast Arizona Preserves manager will give a presentation titled: "Effects of thinning on plant communities in Ramsey Canyon Preserve". For the past three winters Ramsey Canyon Preserve personnel have been thinning on days the Preserve has been closed, primarily to reduce fuel loads. Responses have been quite dramatic with increases in grasses and herbaceous flowering plants.
