Water Wise and Energy Smart display, Post PX Garden
Center
Briefings, presentations, and displays by conservation educators assist
the Fort Huachuca community in reducing water and energy use. Water Wise
and Energy Smart (WWES) staff members provide bi-monthly briefings to soldiers and family members who are new
to the fort and are living in post housing. Briefings are also given
to "Huachuca Welcome" participants and those attending
organization and unit functions. WWES staff members provide interactive displays
for special events, including Safety Day, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation
(MWR) Spring Festival, Community Spouses Club membership drive, Water Awareness
Month, and other organized events on Fort Huachuca. In addition, WWES
provides information and helpful conservation tips through brochures and
published articles available at the fort library, housing office, Muir
Community Center, Self Help Store, or directly from WWES at
538-7283.
