The Union of Concerned Scientists (http://www.ucsusa.org) is concerned that widespread use of recently introduced crops that have been genetically engineered to produce the B.t. toxin, will cause insects to develop resistance to the toxins. They have produced a book which serves as a reference for some of the material on this page.
