The
Multimedia Laboratory is an advanced computer lab specifically
designed to faciliate the creation of multimedia assets.
The CML provides the following capabilities:
- Video
editing
- Image
editing and manipulation
- Scanners
(flatbed and photographic slide scanners are available)
- CD
writing
- High-resolution
video projection
- Networking
connections to the campus and the Internet
- VHS
Video Projection
Computer
Multimedia Lab development/training facility contains:
- Twelve
computers, Pentium 2.2GHz or 233 MHz with MMX, 256megs RAM,
20GB Hard drives, 32x CD-R/RW, 17" monitor.
- Additional
devices include four 35 MM slide scanners (two have auto feed
trays that holds 50 slides each).
- two
flat bed scanner.
- video
capture devices that do real time video capture, compression,
and editing. 1394 input card available for video input.
- Software
includes Microsoft Office XP Suite.
- Video
capture/editing software in use: Adobe Premiere, Windows Media
Encoder, Real Producer, MGI VideoWave, and Media Cleaner.
