Research and Interests:
My research focuses on population dynamics of whiteflies and Lygus in cotton and melons. In particular I am looking at the influences of bottom up and top down forces and how they interact to affect the population dynamics of these pests under different environmental conditions over the course of the season. I also intend to study the effects of inter-specific competition between whiteflies and Lygus bugs on their responses to bottom up and top down factors in cotton and melons.
