Research and Interests:

My research focuses on integrated pest management (IPM) and insect resistance management (IRM) strategies in cotton for the sweet-potato whitefly, Bemisia tabaci. Specifically, I will use simulation models to investigate the impact of management strategies designed to prevent resistance to pyriproxyfen, an insect growth regulator. I will also perform laboratory and field experiments to investigate several factors affecting the evolution of resistance.
