The Department of Entomology at the University of Arizona is recruiting outstanding students for M.S. and Ph.D. degree programs. Support for graduate study in Entomology is available from UA Graduate School and College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Fellowships, BIO5 (UA Biological Sciences) Fellowships, NSF IGERT Fellowships in Genomics, research assistantships, and teaching assistantships.

Graduate Research Assistantship (Doctoral Candidate) in Insect Ecology
Department of Entomology, University of Arizona, Tucson
A Doctoral Assistantship in Entomology is available at the University of Arizona. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team and study the effects of landscape heterogeneity and agricultural practices on insect population dynamics and the evolution of resistance to insecticides. Interest in insect ecology, geographic information systems, and remote sensing is required. Position opens in September 2007 but could be filled in January 2008. Competitive conditions include benefits, research funding, and salary for 3 years.
