The overall theme for this year's conference is Science that Works for Arizona. The conference will be held in the Student Union Arizona Ballroom on Wednesday, December 6, and at the Doubletree Hotel, 445 S. Alvernon Way, Tucson on Thursday, December 7. All administrators, teaching, research, and Extension faculty should attend. Water issues are an essential component of this conference. Our health, communities, industries and natural resources are all affected by water. Research and outreach programs dealing with water have been identified by President Likins as being a high University priority. The Program Planning Committee has tried to make this an inclusive event with the first day's events held on campus to allow all those teaching and research faculty to participate as well as those off-campus. It's a chance to celebrate. The second day's events are also open to all faculty. The agenda information, the all important registration form, as well as the lodging and poster exhibitors forms are available electronically. Please complete and submit the registration and lodging forms no later than November 10, 2000. I look forward to seeing ALL of you at this year's conference!
