Sponsored by Texas Tech University, educators and agricultural supporters from around the country were in attendance. (Congratulations Mike!) Dr. Matt Holt, the first occupant of the Cardon Chair was also present. Matt begins a new era of emphasis on Agri-business and officially began his career with the UofA on October 1, 1999. * Dean’s Fall Meeting is Thursday, October 28, 1999 in the Arizona Ballroom. * In response to surveys ECAT received this past summer, they have added
some new non-web/non-Internet topics to the seminar series they offer.
These classes are: 1) Design for the Non-Designer, Mon, Nov 8, 2-3,
FCR 219. Learn four basic design elements which can be used in PRINT
publications to improve the appearance of the publication, and 2) Grappling
with Grammar Glitches, Mon, Nov 15, 2-3:30, FCR 219. Tackle
grammar problems specific to a university setting, including what to capitalize,
how to avoid passive voice, and common usage mistakes. Please share
