Tuesday Morning NotesJune 22, 1999* Congratulations to Scottie Misner, State EFNEP Coordinator, who presided over the Arizona Dietetic Association’s Annual Meeting, June 9-12, 1999 at the Mesa Hilton as the incoming President. * Congratulations to Ken Agnew, a staff member working at the Pesticide Information and Training Office, who was recently awarded the American Agricultural Economics Association’s Outstanding Master’s Thesis Award for 1999 for his thesis entitled “LinQuad: An Incomplete Demand System Approach to Demand Estimation and Exact Welfare Measures.” Ken received his master’s degree from the Agricultural and Resource Economics department here at The University of Arizona. His thesis advisor was Jeff La France, now at UC Berkeley. * All Extension personnel are invited to attend a tour of the NAU Onsite Wastewater Treatment Education Facility in Flagstaff on Friday, July 9.
