Tuesday Morning Notes

November 14th, 2000

The twelfth annual Touchstone Energy Ag-Cat Open Golf Tournament has been deemed a tremendous success by all participants! Friday morning dawned crisp with clouds and winds picking up as the morning progressed. This did not dampen the players enthusiasm in the least. Players commented at the club house during the southwestern barbecue luncheon that this tournament was by far the best one yet! A student-sponsored group from the AGR house won first place with a score of 61 and the "not quite first place" (read: last place) winners were also students. All in all, with sponsorship up almost 100% from last year and a playing roster of 138 out of 142 registrants, I would have to say that we couldn't have done much better...however, that isn't going to stop us from trying to exceed those figures NEXT year! Many thanks go to Susan Paul and Clint McCall in the Development/Alumni office for their efforts. Congratulations!
