A Monsanto Biotech forum is scheduled for Wednesday, March 1, 2000, 8:15 A.M. - 12 Noon at the Water Resources Research Center, 350 S. Campbell. 1. Yavapai County, Assistant/Associate Agent, 4-H Youth Development, Review of applicants begins, February 15, 2000. Yavapai County will be reviewing nine applications.
2. La Paz County, Assistant/Associate Agent, 4-H Youth Development, Review of applicants begins March 18, 2000.
3. Graham County, Assistant/Associate Agent, Agriculture. Review of applications begins March 20, 2000.

* Congratulations to Mike Kilby, Tree Fruit/Nut/Vine Specialist, and Linda Nunan, Research Specialist, for producing the 1999 Wine Grape Research Report!

* Congratulations to Glenn Wright, Associate Research Scientist, and Mike Kilby, Tree Fruit/Nut/Vine Specialist, for producing the 1999 Citrus and Deciduous Fruit and Nut Research Report!

* We are soliciting program Enhancement Proposals for the period July 1, 2000 - June 30-2001. In evaluating the proposals, special consideration will be given to priority issues that have been identified in several counties, the state, or the western region. Proposals are due March 10, 2000. Late proposals will not be considered. Please contact Deborah Young or Patti B. at 621-5308 for more detailed information.

* An experimental "paper bale" Field Support Facility was completed this past summer, built by student design and labor with the assistance of Rocky Brittain, College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture (CAPLA) Faculty. Reported by Corky Poster and the Drachman Institute. Congratulations!
