in aquaculture technology, equipment and techniques presented by University

* On April 18, 2002 a 3-D memo of the Revised Policy on Compensatory Time
Classified Staff Human Resources Policy 311.0, "Overtime/Compensatory
Time," has been updated to allow part-time non-exempt employees to accrue
compensatory time for hours worked in excess of their FTE. This change
will provide more flexibility to units and potentially provide these
employees with a source of income for the closure dates. Note: Please
remember that Classified Staff non-exempt employees may earn compensatory
time any time during the year when 1) there is a bona fide work the
employee is qualified to perform, AND 2) the employee's supervisor
authorizes the hours in advance. Please direct questions to Human
Resources at 621-3662 or infoexpress@listserv.arizona.edu.
* The State Ag Literacy Committee will pay the $50 registration fee for
state educators to attend three popular workshops: Food, Land, People;
Project Learning Tree; and Project Wet. June 26-27 at the Maricopa County
Extension office. Contact Vic Jimenez (vjimenez@cals.arizona.edu) or Monica
Pastor (mpastor@cals.arizona.edu) for details.
