The University of Arizona Cotton Field Day will be held this year on
Wednesday, October 9, 2002. As in past years, we are again sending out a
call for posters for our poster session. The poster session is a unique
opportunity for faculty to showcase their programs and projects. This year,
the session will take place under the covered parking area on the South
side of the building. Tables (3x8) will be available as well as poster
boards (4x8). Due to the new location, Internet service will not be
available. However, we still have electricity for those who need it.
Contact Ed Martin at (520) 568-2273 or edmartin@cals.arizona.edu to reserve
your spot. Reservations must be made by Monday, September 30, 2002.
PROVIDE ECAT WITH YOUR CLASS PRIORITIES ECAT would like to hear your
priorities on possible class topics and methods of delivering these
classes/demonstrations. Delivery methods are sessions on campus, sessions
given through a web conferencing system (allowing you to stay in your
office, but you would have to pay for your connection cost), web-delivered
classes, or materials on a CD. Comments to this survey will be used to
decide classes offered this fall and spring. Any CALS employee, student, or
volunteer may fill out the form at
http://cals.arizona.edu/ecat/classes/classpriorities.html. If you want to
provide input, please respond by September 18, 2002.
