Project CENTRL (Center for Rural Leadership) was founded in 1983 in partnership with the University of Arizona. The purpose of this dynamic two-year leadership program is to "assist highly motivated leaders to improve and expand their leadership skills in meeting the needs of rural people in Arizona". Over 400 alumni have graduated from this two-year leadership program. In view of the many emerging issues and future challenges facing agriculture and rural Arizona, we must continue to build a larger and stronger network of leadership. Thirty candidates will be selected to participate in CENTRL Class XVII, which will begin in the Fall of 2003. Applications are due in the CENTRL office not later than June 1, 2003. Please encourage potential candidates from your county to apply (http://cals.arizona.edu/centrl/#Eligibility). For more information please call 520-316-0909.
