to Forbes on the UA campus as of today. He is working on specific tasks
for the Director and is not part of the administrative faculty and staff
team.

October 29-30. It is sponsored by the newly established TCA Institute for Consumer
Finance Education and Research in the School of Family and Consumer Sciences

Requests for proposals for IPM 3(d) funds and Farm Safety 3(d) funds have been
issued. All interested faculty are invited to submit proposals regarding expenditure
of these funds. Smith-Lever funds are available to land-grant university faculty

September 19.
The University of Arizona Cotton Field Day will be held this year on Wednesday
October 15, 2003, at the Maricopa Agricultural Center. This year's field day
will include tours of the research fields highlighting current research in the
areas of variety testing, minimum tillage and entomology test plots. There will
also be a grower symposium, sponsored by the Arizona Cotton Growers Association,
dealing with the pink bollworm eradication program and cotton seed development.
There will also be a poster session at the Field Day, which is a unique opportunity
for Extensionists and Researchers to showcase their programs and projects. Tables
(3x8) will be available as well as poster boards (4x8). You can sign up online
