The Globe office is moving this week, from Wednesday, September 24
through Friday. September 26, and will be closed for three days. Their
new physical address will be 5515 S. Apache Avenue, Globe, AZ,
85501-4367 (in Central Heights) and their new mailing address will be PO
Box 167, Globe, AZ 85502-0167. Phone numbers will remain the same, but
they will have new extension #'s that are not known at this time.
Please make a note of these changes as appropriate.
The San Carlos Apache reservation extension office has just hired a new
secretary, Celestina Fast Horse. She grew up on a cattle and sheep ranch
near Gallup, New Mexico in the community of Naschitti, is a member of
the Navajo Tribe, lives on the San Carlos reservation in the community
of Cutter. and is married to a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe.
One of her two boys will soon become a member of the 4-H Cloverbud club.
Celestina is very interested in promoting youth programs as well as
doing administrative work in the office. Welcome, Celestina.
