Tuesday Morning Notes

March 23, 2004

Over one hundred Native American livestock producers and other interested folks attended the REZ TO RAIL program last week. It began with a bus loading about 60 passengers from the Navajo Nation. The first stop on Sunday March 14 was the Bar T Bar Ranch, then the V Bar V Ranch, then overnight in Tucson. Over 50 additional folks joined the workshop on Monday; which was spent at the UA feedlot and veterinary diagnostic lab. Tuesday included sessions at the Campbell Ag Center meats labs/facilities. Many thanks to our presenters: Peder Cuneo, Bob Prosser, Jim Sprinkle, Dave Henderson, Dean Fish, John Marchello, Carl Stephenson, Glenn Duff, Joe Bahe and Bob Glock.
