Congratulations to Joanne Littlefield who received her Masters of Mass Communication degree from  the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University in December 2004.  Joanne is the Information Specialist Coordinator for ECAT and writes for Arizona Delivers. Her final project was a visual content analysis of the front page images during 2003 and an ethnographic study of the photographic staff at the Navajo Times, a weekly newspaper published on the Navajo Nation at Window Rock.

George Zaimes joined the School of Natural Resources Watershed Resources Program this month as the Assistant Extension Specialist in Watershed, Riparian and Rangeland Management.  George is a recent Ph.D. graduate in Water Resources from Iowa State University.  Through this new position George will develop a statewide extension program on watershed and riparian management for public and private lands.  He is officed in Bio Sciences East, Room 310.  You can contact George at zaimes@ag.arizona.edu.

2004 was the best year yet for the MAC Farm Ag-Ventures outreach. This is just a reminder that reservations for the Spring Ag-Venture programs at the Maricopa Agricultural Center can be made by at 520-568-2273 or contact Vic Jimenez (vjimenez@ag.arizona.edu).  It's hands on, interactive, worthwhile, and fun.

The University of Arizona Style Guide is now online.  It provides guidelines and policy for using the University's official logos and styles in publications, stationery and web sites.  Following these guidelines helps to present the University's image consistently as a nationally respected institution.  Visit http://www.arizona.edu/styleguide/web/ to link directly to the UA Style Guide.  Questions may be directed to Dottie Larson, Director of UA Identification Program (520-621-1076 / dlarson@u.arizona.edu).
