Our best wishes for success go to Joe Leisz who has accepted the position of Executive Director of the 4-H Foundation at Iowa State University effective July 1, 2005. The U of A Development Office will provide leadership during a transition period as we seek a new leader for the 4-H Foundation and continue to resolve all the audit issues raised by the U of A. We anticipate a busy transition. Again congratulations to Joe. A reception for Joe will be held on June 27th. At 3:30 in Forbes.

There seems to be a little confusion about faculty position descriptions. These were originally requested in the Fall of 1997. Copies of each were sent to the Dean's Office, signed by the dean, then the original returned to the department for filing. Every time there is a change to a position description, it should be printed out from APROL, signed by the department head and forwarded to Dean Sander for signature. The original signed copy will then be returned to the department and we keep a copy here in the Dean's Office. These descriptions do not normally change often. Most departments and county offices are doing a fine job with this process. If you cannot find updated positions in your file, we can make you a copy of what we have on file.

UPCOMING DATES:

May 31- For UA Extension working in forestry there will be a Forestry meeting held at the Maricopa County Extension office from 9:30-2:30, in the Saguaro meeting room.
