Steve has been instrumental in getting local, federal and state agencies, along with community members, to work together to build a collaborative process for forest health and management.

The Arizona Association of Extension 4-H Agents began a tradition at Annual Faculty Conference this year with the presentation of the Award of the Grey Clover honoring the 4-H professional with the most years of service to the 4-H Youth Development Program. It is not a retirement award, but is to recognize the professional who has the most experience/years of service. The award is a grey clover held in children?s hands mounted on a mahogany base for engraving. The award was back-dated to 2002, the Centennial year for 4-H work and Marifloyd Hamil of Maricopa County was the first to have her name engraved. Marifloyd retired in 2003 with 37 years of youth development work. The current Grey Clover is Julie Adamcin of Pima County who is in her 35th year of 4-H Youth Development work. Congratulations.
