VIDEOS ABOUT CREATING AND USING STYLE SHEET RULES:
The concept of style sheet rules was created several years ago by the World Wide Web Consortium to separate formatting from content. If you create style sheet rules for your Web site, you can do things like put spacing between items in a bulleted list or have different types of links on various parts of your page that you cannot do with regular HTML coding. Rules can also be used to define parts of a page rather than using tables for layout. Having a page defined with style sheet rules means that the printed version of your web page can be different from the screen version. Linda Ffolliott has put up a page referencing several videos dealing with style sheet rule creation, modification and use. This listing references basics in starting your own rules and also more advanced things like creating two- and three-column layouts and how to change links on parts of your site so they are not all the same. Videos can be found at http://cals.arizona.edu/ecat/web/videos/stylesheets/.
