FOCUS ON FACULTY:

We were fortunate to have Dr. Tom Harris from the University of Nevada, Reno attend the Western Rural Development Center Board Meeting in Tucson and meet with Arizona Extension faculty to develop a grant proposal to the U.S. Department of Commerce for a Center Grant.  This will be a new focal point for programs in community development, economic development, commerce, rural health and energy.  Cynthia Flynn , Susan Pater , Everett Rhodes , Dan McDonald , Erik Glenn , Mark Apel , Cathy Martinez and I all took part in these discussions.  Several other faculty are part of this group, but were unable to attend.  If you are interested in being a part of this group, contact Cynthia Flynn (520.626.5161).
