FSHD Ambassadors

I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. I am currently a sophomore at the University of Arizona and anticipate graduating with Honors in May 2011. I am double majoring in Family Studies and Human Development and Nursing. After graduation, I plan to attend graduate school with aspirations of becoming a neo-natal nurse practioner. This is my first year as an ambassador, and I decided to join to become more actively involved in my major, get to know the faculty on more of a personal basis, and to ultimately give back to the community.

Aside from being an FSHD Ambassador, I am Corresponding Secretary, Alumni Relations Chair, and Expansion Chair of Kappa Delta Chi Sorority (a Greek multicultural service organization), a Phase II member of Arizona Blue Chip Leadership Program, a member of Professional Achievements in Nursing (P.A.I.N.), and I work as a student assistant at Arizona Research Labs and as nursery attendant at the Lohse YMCA of Metropolitan Tucson.
