FSHD Ambassadors

My name is Katie Sherer and I am from Gilbert, Arizona. I am currently a junior here at the University of Arizona and plan on graduating in May of 2009. My major is Family Studies and Human Development with a minor in Psychology.

After graduating, I plan on moving on to graduate school and studying to become a counselor, specifically working with children. I chose the Family Studies and Human Development major because of the interesting course work and how this major can give me a greater understanding of families and children, which will be valuable to my career in the future.

This is my first year as an Ambassador and I am so excited to serve my university and community. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, reading, playing guitar, anything else music-related, and traveling. I am also involved with another group on campus called The Navigators, which is a Christian organization, and enjoy doing service with them as well.
