Who are they and what do they do?

The Family Studies and Human Development (FSHD) Ambassadors, is an outstanding student organization. They are a group of FSHD students dedicated to philanthropic endeavors, outreach, providing for families in need and educating future and current students about the benefits of service to the community. We are devoted to building relationships among faculty, students, alumni and the community while developing future service professionals. |

| Application Process |
Using the link below, access a FSHD Ambassador application. Turn in your application packet to FCS 123 by 12pm February 27, 2008. You will be contacted by February 29, 2008 to schedule an interview for the following week with the 2008-2009 Ambassador Officers. You will be notified no later then March 14, 2008 of your acceptance into the FSHD Ambassador Organization.

| Responsibilities |
Our members are passionate about their field of study and commitment to the community. Each semester we coordinate several events and participate in community service projects including:
- Girl Scout Community Troop Leaders
- Race for the Cure 5K
- Signature Cookie Fundraiser
- Adopt-a-Family for the Holidays
- UA Meet your Major Fair
- "Munch 'n' Mingle" Student-Faculty Luncheons

Weekly meetings are held every Wednesday from 12 to 2. |
