Hello! My name is Kyra Folkert and I am originally from New York, GO METS! I will be a senior for the 2011-2012 school year and plan on graduating in May. I chose the U of A because I wanted to be somewhere with warm weather, a great campus, and even better academics. I plan on pursuing a degree in Nursing after I graduate, and hope to one day become a Nurse Practitioner. I wanted to join FSHD Ambassadors because I felt it was a good way to really use my major to make a difference with the community which surrounds our school. I also want to be more involved in my major and use the skill I learn in the classroom and apply them to life outside of school.
