My name is Elizabeth Uribe and I’m currently a junior majoring in FSHD and Psychology. I was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and raised in Tucson, Arizona. Growing up around the University of Arizona, I always knew I wanted to come here. =) Learning about the Ambassadors program completely caught my attention when hearing about all the wonderful things they have done. I love helping people and FSHD has a great background in helping their community. I wanted to be an FSHD ambassador because I wanted to become more involved in my major, be able to help out the Tucson community and be able to meet new wonderful people with the same area of interests as myself. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the FSHD major and a great experience in which I can’t wait for!
