Instructor Frontain teaches a diverse range of classes from the Introduction to Retailing Class (RCSC 114), to Merchandise Planning (RCSC 304) to Leadership, Ethics and Management Practices (RCSC 384) throughout the year.
Her teaching philosophy is derived from her 25 years in retailing in a variety of retail venues. She mentors the students for real world experiences in retailing.
Instructor Frontain coordinates all New and Transfer Student Orientation sessions for Retailing and Consumer Sciences, and advises the majority of undergraduate students in the major. Ms. Frontain processes degree checks for the seniors as well. She serves on the Undergraduate Committee as a liason between the students and the UofA.
Professional Associations and Improvement Activities:
Ms. Frontain establishes new retail connections and relationships between the RCSC program and the Terry J Lundgren Center to enhance internship and career placements for the students. She assists the students in developing leads for internships, and interviews for career placement by working with Career Services and with retailers.
