Biography: Professor Emeritus of Economics at University of Colorado. Formerly with University of Colorado Institute for Behavioral Science, and former President, American Economic Association and American Association for the Advancement of Science. Born in Liverpool, England, 1910.

Worldview: passing into new region of time where there may be 5 possible directions: nuclear war and civilization wiped out, continuing international conflict, exhaustion of resources, continuing present patterns, and a better world.
