Note: (1) The tourist season is at its peak from
January until April. February is particularly busy, as Tucson hosts the International
Gem Show, and accommodations are very difficult to find during that period.
Reservations should be made well in advance. (2) The Peppertrees B&B, and
the Marriott, and Sheraton Hotels are closest to the University. The
Flamingo and the other hotels on Stone Avenue are about 0.75 miles away, but are
less expensive. If you make a reservation at the Flamingo mention that you are
part of a University of Arizona event and they should give you a discount.
