Our Mission

We grow fresh fruits and vegetables which are distributed through food banks, prepared food service organizations, community centers and other non-profit organizations, to the numerous handicapped and underprivileged citizens (many of whom are children and elderly shut-ins) of Arizona.

Organization Profile

The Harvest For Humanity Foundation, an Arizona non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) status, is dedicated to fighting hunger and promoting good health in Arizona.  We convert acres of unused, nutrient-rich desert soil into productive vegetable fields.

Since its inception in 1991, Harvest for Humanity has donated more than 446,000 pounds of organically grown fruits and vegetables to local food banks, soup kitchens and care providers. Through our efforts, more than 400,000 people are fed each year.  To date more than 1,200,000 meals have been fed.

That may seem like a lot of food, but sadly enough, more than 200,000 eligible people in Arizona do not receive the food assistance they need due to a shortage of supply.

Check out our website to find out how you and your organization can get involved and make a difference.
