Parents are the key to success!

4-H is an opportunity for parents and children to learn and have fun together. The success of the 4-H program depends greatly upon parent support and involvement.

Benefits to the Child
The child has opportunities to learn from their parent's teachings and role modeling. They feel supported and gain confidence and self-esteem.

Benefits for Parents
The parents have opportunities to teach their children both skills and values. The family becomes closer as both parents and children participate in activities and events that are fun, learning experiences. Parents gain a better understanding the of their childrens' development and often learn new ways to guide and support their growth. Parents also strengthen their own social networks with other parents and youth in the community.
