 For extended vacations try this. Get an inexpensive
timer that hooks up to a hose bib. Disconnect the cold
water line to your clothes washer and hook up the
timer. to the timer fasten a 1/2 inch poly tube and
run it to your bathtub. Place your plants in the tub
with the drain open and hook up drip emitters to the
line for each plant.Set the timer, turn on the cold
water line and enjoy your vacation knowing the plants
will be watered at the proper time and with the proper
amount of water. Have fun.
