- 14. Dawn Bueschel Named Fourth Quarter Outstanding Staff Award at CALS

Dawn Bueschel, research specialist in the department of veterinary sciences and microbiology, is the recipient of the 2001 Fourth Quarter College of Agriculture Outstanding Staff Award.
Bueschel has been with the college since 1997. Her letters of nomination noted that she is a shining example of the dedicated, hard-working staff that ensures the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences' continued excellence in research and public services. She interacts well with both peers and senior personnel. There is never any doubt that she will volunteer to help those in need, including undergraduates, graduate students, other technicians, post-doctoral trainees, and faculty. Her nominators said she "works hard, works long hours, is always pleasant, and the results of her work are excellent."
One nominator stated that "the combination of her outlook on life, her appealing personality, and her professional achievements give me the confidence to place her in the top 1 percent of her peer
