- 27. Retail, Agriculture, and Business Career and Internship Fair Feb. 15.

UA Students are invited to dress for success and bring their resumes to the 2001 Retail, Agriculture, and Business Career and Internship Fair, Thursday, Feb. 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Bear Down Gym.
More than 60 companies will attend the Career and Internship Fair. The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) Student Advisory Council, Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE), and the Southwest Retail Center are organizing the fair.
A "resumania" workshop will be held Wednesday, Feb. 7, between noon and 2 p.m. in the courtyard of the Family and Consumer Resources (FCR) Building to assist students in preparing a professional resume. Volunteers from Career Services and the Students In Free Enterprise(SIFE) team will be on hand to edit. In addition, a presentation on professional and business casual dress will be given in FCR, Room 101, at 12:30 p.m. The workshop will help students to understand proper dressing for interviewing and work. The Dress for Success Workshop also will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at noon in the Forbes Courtyard.
Some pointers on how to maximize success at the Career and Internship Fair will also be available. Many of the concepts that students can learn at either of these two workshops will help to develop a polished look and make impressive first contacts. These workshops will assist in preparation for both the Career and Internship Fair and for "real life" interviewing and job preparation.
