    15. PHASE Hosts Award Ceremony

    The Arizona Department of Transportation/The Project for Homemakers in Arizona Seeking Employment (PHASE) Pre-Apprenticeship Program for Women and Minorities recently honored several Tucson women.

    PHASE, in existence for 23 years, is located in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Its mission is to help low-income single parents and displaced homemakers in Pima County enter training and secure employment. PHASE/School of Family & Consumer Resources and the Department of Agricultural Education provides the training program.

    Recent honorees are Kathleen E. Gregory, Mary Hinkley, Anita Diane Krass, Paulette M. Lane, Amber Leroy, Priscilla Pfeiffer and Bernie Stannus.
