    10. Conference on Native American Issues to be Held in Tucson

    The "Conference on Native American Issues: Professionals in Outreach Education" will be held April 11-12 at the Arizona Historical Society Museum, located at Second Street and Park Avenue in Tucson.

    A conference website with agenda, registration form, and additional information is now available at http://ag.arizona.edu/agdiv/conference/ .

    The event is open to educators, students, faculty, diversity managers and anyone interested in learning more about current Native American issues. The two-day event is sponsored by the University of Arizona College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and UA American Indian Studies. Registration is $65 if received by March 19; $75 thereafter. Student registration costs $25.

    The keynote speaker will be Cassandra Manuelito Kerkvliet, president of DinƯ College on the Navajo Nation in Tsaile, Ariz., who will tell her life story and set the scene for similar presentations by students, faculty and community leaders.
