- 23. Institute Seeks Father-Child Images for Screen-Saver Project
- July 20, 2001
Fathers of all ages and their children, infant to college-age, are being sought for a Fathers and Families screen-saver project through the University of Arizona's Institute for Children, Youth, and Families.
The purpose of the Fathers and Families Initiative is to promote healthy father-child relationships.
Digital pictures will be taken of fathers involved in one or more of a variety of activities with their children including playing, reading, cooking, cleaning, fixing, building, teaching, riding, driving, praying, singing, dressing, bathing, hugging, kissing and laughing.
Pictures will be selected to be included in a screen-saver program portraying positive images of fathers along with information about fathering to be distributed, free of charge, as part of an educational outreach project through the Fathers and Families Initiative.
For more information or to arrange for a photo session, e-mail Dan McDonald (mcdonald@ag.arizona.edu) at the Institute for Children, Youth, and Families, or call 621-8931.
