Several UA faculty and staff members with the UA College of Agriculture and Life Sciences have contributed to a reference book recently published by Marcel Dekker Inc.
"Using the Agricultural, Environmental, and Food Literature," edited by Barbara S. Hutchinson (Office of Arid Lands Studies) and Antoinette Paris Greider of the University of Kentucky, is a guide to the literature of agriculture and related sciences for librarians, scientists, and researchers.
Of 16 chapters, three were written by UA College of Agriculture and Life Sciences people:"Grey Literature, and Extension Resources" was written by Sheila Merrigan, cooperative extension, with Tim McKimmie of New Mexico State University. "International Rural Development and Sociology" was written by Anita L. Hayden, arid lands resource sciences. "Soil Science" was written by Carla Long Casler, office of arid lands studies, with Karl R. Schneider, of the National Agricultural Library.
